Compare
the Product Specifications published by the leading manufacturer of
asphalt-based waterproofing with WALL-GUARD. They do not show a Life
Expectancy Test (ask them why?)... ours is over 100 years! Our
Elongation percent is over 1800% and our Tensile Strength is 441 psi
(min.). What's theirs? Their fiberglass insulation board, in a below-grade
environment, can become soggy and lose its insulation value. What's
more, when the excavated soil returns to its original state of
compaction (earth's lateral pressures can crack wall), we think
their fiberglass board will flatten like a pancake! What happens to
their drainage and hydrostatic pressure relief claims then?
